lunchtime today (february 6), sketched in cool but nice sunshine in the arboretum, behind the mondavi centre. A welcme break from sitting in front of a computer screen looking at names, GPAs, GRE scores and so on. Listened to music (the boo radleys). The last day of being 31. I turn 32 tomorrow. I had almost completely forgotten.

I might forgo birthdays and give myself a new adrian molesque age every day: yesterday i was 31 and 364 days. tomorrow i'll be 32 years and 1 day. Joyeux birthday again; I wonder if people should be required to round-up, like when they reach 31 and a half they have to say they are 32? It's a mystery. |
