What I didn't say, and what has happened, is that this has also become a proud-tree-hugging blog. Or tree drawing, and not proud. What is pride anyway? People give it too much credit, like patriotism. It comes before The Fall, maybe it's a DJ's set-list, strange having U2 before Mark E Smith but there you go. This pride of trees (wrong collective noun) I think comes after the Fall, as all the leaves have gone. But it goes before the Spring, and wow spring is coming in thick and fast. All these little Davis trees are covered in blossom where days ago they were barren and quite moody to draw. Now, let's see if the 20six blog system goes down again, making this blog and so many others temporarily invisible..?
because my love for you will break my heart in two

amillionpieces / Website (29.2.08 11:37) Nice pic, Man. Sorry about 20six, should be back for good now, I think, although to be honest my grasp of what was going on all week was minimal, I mainly spent it looking at lists of Chinese telecoms companies that were causing the trouble and hitting my head against a wall. |

bill Nagel / Website (2.3.08 06:38) I just have to say your tree drawings are great. Very simple yet full of texture and depth. I am inspired to attempt the same. |

laputain / Website (2.3.08 10:45) i am particularly falling for your trees. Indeed, if I come up with a set I particularly like, I might ask for your permission to print them for framing. Just for me. Just a thought. |
